|a "British environmental policy has been fundamentally 'Europeanized' by the European Union (EU). This book departs from existing accounts by adopting a departmental (or ministerial) perspective on the forces that are deeply transforming British governance. Using theories of European integration and its domestic impact (Europeanization) this book examines how the UK Department of the Environment negotiated a number of 'large' and 'small' decisions in the EU."
