Summary:Harry King interviews Evelyn Forbes. They discuss her father Hartley Travers Ferrar, his role in the First Scott Expedition (1901-1904), his friends and associates within the British Antarctica explorer community, especially Edward and Oriana Wilson, and his subsequent activities in the Middle East as part of the Egyptian Geological Survey and during the First World War. They also discuss Evelyn Forbes' travel in India and her husband Max Forbes, in particular, his time as editor of the Polar Record, and his role as British Representative in Antarctica for Operation Deep Freeze. Also mentioned is the British Antarctica explorer community in New Zealand during the period when H.T.
