Horticultural activity is listed on the Ministry for the Environment’s Hazardous Activities and Industries List (HAIL), and is therefore considered to be an activity with a potential to contaminate land. This report, prepared by Pattle Delamore Partners Limited (PDP), is intended to help ECan in scoping to what extent horticultural use may have contaminated land in Canterbury.
